Once upon a time
There was a girl
Who really likes to see the sky
Her dream was to paint the most beautiful one
And that's how this story starts

Since she was born she had paint on her hands
And a love that nobody can understand
Those wonderful works are all made by her
She is known in the country by the sky painter

I remember the first time I met her
We were young and she rather paint than come to play
I did everything to become her friend
I made it even I was really afraid

Every time that I meet this girl
She is alone looking the sky
And she notices that I am there behind
And suddenly she starts to talk

"Are you seeing this sunny sky?
Who did this was happy today
This pretty sky makes we two smile
And I will paint skies for you one day"

The time pass by and the girl had grown up
But her love and her dreams always still the same
Even with a bunch of people criticizing
Making her think her dreams are a total lame

The more the time flies, the more it gets worse
l can see that she can't take it anymore
The color of all her paints disappeared
She is tired and she can't paint as before

Every time that I meet her now
She is alone looking the sky
She always notices that I am there behind
she talk to me as she cries

"Are you seeing this rainy sky?
Who did this was sad today
That's why the paint just drop and cry
Exactly how I'm feeling today"

"Oh, Why is this so tough and hard
I can't take any step forward
I'm not from here I'm total alone
The sky's is my home and there I belong"

This time that I came to meet her
She was in hospital with no sky
I opened the curtains and windows of the room
and let the moonlight come inside

"Are you seeing this bright night sky?
Who did this threw a party today
Can you see that star saying hi?"
That was her, saying her last goodbye

A lot of years had come and had passed by
And I cannot forget that I miss that girl
Even she had to leave us all so soon
She's happy somewhere, trust me, I really know

For meet her I just need to look at the sky
When Its about six hours before midnight
It is because she was born at twilight
She's a wonderful mixture of day and night

"Please tell me you see this magical sky
Who did this was me today
I made this to see your smile
Like I promised to you in that day

And I'll do everyday"

And she did everyday
